Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Feud ("Feud", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website at feuds.ca and related services (the "Platform"). By using the Platform, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information such as your name, email address, and password when you register.
- Player contact details — when you register to play a feud we collect only your username, email address, and phone number. This information is collected for a single purpose: so the host can reach out to you if you win the item. We do not collect your home or shipping address.
- Activity data such as feuds you create or enter, game attempts, completion times, and leaderboard results.
- Technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited, collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.
How we use your information
- To operate the Platform, run feuds, and record leaderboard results.
- To contact a winner and connect them with the host who provided the item.
- To communicate with you about your account, feuds, and important updates.
- To prevent fraud, cheating, and abuse, and to enforce our Terms & Conditions.
- To measure and improve the performance and content of the Platform.
Cookies and advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure traffic, and display advertising.
We use Google AdSense, a third-party advertising service, to serve ads on the Platform. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info/choices. Most browsers also let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the Platform: with hosts to identify and award winners, with service providers who help us run the Platform (such as hosting, analytics, email, and advertising partners), and where required by law or to protect the rights and safety of Feud and its users.
Data retention and security
Player information is kept only as long as it is needed to award a prize. When a feud ends, the contact information (username, email, and phone number) of every player who did not win is erased automatically. The winner's contact information is retained for 60 days so that the host can reach out and arrange delivery of the item. After 60 days, the winner's contact information is deleted as well.
For other data, we retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Platform and meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
Children's privacy
The Platform is intended for users who are 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
